‎National Super League (NSL) side Naivas FC will be looking to maintain their early momentum in the second tier league this Saturday against MCF. ‎‎The outfit opened their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Fortune Sacco in their season opener last weekend, a result that placed them fifth on the table, level on points with early leaders Nzoia Sugar. ‎‎Speaking to Citizen Digital ahead of their next fixture, Naivas FC jead coach Elvis Ayani expressed optimism, saying his players are ready for another strong performance, but expects a tough test from MCF, who will be desperate to bounce back after suffering defeat in their opening match. ‎“It’s going to be a competitive clash because MCF will come hungry for their first win,” Ayani said. ‎‎Beyond the on-field battle, the tactician also highlighted the logistical and financial hurdles that clubs face in the NSL.
