Škoda has expanded the line-up for its fully electric Enyaq SUV with a new long-range version that qualifies for the Government’s Electric Car Grant of £1,500. The new Enyaq SE L 85 sits below the Edition 85 and, thanks to its £41,980 OTR price, qualifies for the grant under the Government’s rules, bringing the price down to £40,480. It’s powered by a 286hp rear-mounted electric motor and capable of reaching 62mph in 6.7 seconds with a top speed of 111mph. Safety equipment includes predictive adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, travel assist plus and keyless entry with walkaway locking. The introduction of the new Enyaq SE L 85 variant increases the number of Škoda models eligible for the recently introduced Government Electric Car Grant to 10 different variants.
