Kia’s heavily revamped Stonic compact crossover is on sale now, complete with a lower entry price, overt styling and a plethora of new technologies. It’s also one of the most affordable entry points to the Kia line-up in the UK, second only to the Picanto. To keep the line-up streamlined, the Stonic is available with a single, 1.0-litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine across the line-up. On GT-Line and GT-Line S versions, this same engine gains mild hybrid assistance, boosting power to 115hp and cutting the 0-62mph time to 10.7 seconds on manual versions. All Stonic variants come with Kia’s seven-year/100,000-mile warranty, with service intervals of 12 months or 10,000 miles.
