Vishal Brahma, an actor from Student of the Year 2, was arrested at the Chennai airport on Monday for carrying 3.5kg of cocaine, valued at Rs 40 crore. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) detained the actor with the illegal substance as he was returning to Chennai from Singapore on flight AI 347. As reported by the Times of India, officials discovered that Vishal had 3.5 kg of cocaine in his possession. Early in the morning on September 28, the air intelligence officers stopped the actor upon his arrival from Singapore at the airport. Customs officials discovered plastic bags containing a white powder concealed within a fake compartment in the bottom of his trolley bag.
