The Liberals say they’re preparing to draft legislation that would create a disability advocate’s office in the province. “Following consultations with the disability community, the Department of Families and Affordability will review the feedback and begin the process of drafting legislation for the creation of a Newfoundland and Labrador disability advocate,” it said. “Our government has committed to establishing a Newfoundland and Labrador disability advocate and these consultations are a crucial piece of that process,” Davis said Friday.
