Simon Hall, of Albert Street, Millom, was ‘perplexed’ he was over the legal limit for Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis), South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court heard on September 25.
He was asked to conduct a DrugWipe test at the roadside and tested positive for cannabis.
Representing the defendant, defence solicitor Michael Graham said: “He had not used cannabis for one week before the incident.
He was perplexed he was over the limit.
He moved away from cannabis and got medicinal cannabis prescribed.
