Callum Griffiths, 23 and of Milton Road, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, September 30. Griffiths pleaded guilty to one count of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, and one count of possession of a controlled drug of Class B.Kassem Noureddine, prosecuting, said that Griffiths was stopped by police in Princes Road on Thursday, July 31. Griffiths made full and frank admissions to the officers, and presented the cannabis to them at the roadside. Griffiths, who appeared unrepresented, told magistrates that he was ‘really sorry’ for the incident, adding that it ‘won’t happen again’. Griffiths will be prohibited from driving for 12 months.
