Kristen Done, formerly of Watergate Street in Ellesmere, but now living in Lancelyn Court in Spittal, south Wirral, received an eight-month suspended sentence when she appeared before magistrates sitting in Telford on Friday (September 26).
The court was told how Done had pleaded guilty to theft after taking £250 on five occasions from February 1 and 12, 2024.
Magistrates said she would be sentenced to eight months in prison, but that would be suspended for two years.
They also said the 32-year-old must complete 250 hours of unpaid work and pay her victim £700 in compensation.
Costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £187 were also confirmed by magistrates.
