There is a de facto ban on fracking in the UK, originally brought in six years ago. Mr Miliband branded Reform UK leader Nigel Farage “and his cronies” as “ideological extremists” in his speech. Greenpeace UK’s Angharad Hopkinson said: “The Government is absolutely right to ban fracking for good.
