At around lunchtime on Friday, it was reported to the police that a year four student at Elmswell Community Primary School had been found with a knife. Headteacher Richard Ratcliffe says that the school are taking the incident "extremely seriously" and "understands and acknowledges" concerns from parents. There are understood to be around 360 pupils at the school according to the recent Ofsted inspection.
