Maddie King was 21 when she died last April in Ipswich Hospital from a rare neurological disease. Colleagues at Saxmundham Health wanted to remember her as the “laughing, happy” person she was, and decided to commission a bench in Miss King’s memory. This is a fitting tribute to Miss King, said her colleagues, for it is “one of a kind, so different and yet really special – just like her”. Miss King’s former colleagues said that they will always remember Miss King, for her “sunny disposition and happy smiling face”.
