National Highways has said that a section of the eastbound carriageway of the major route will be closed until Friday, October 10. The eastbound carriageway will be shut between junction 38 for Waterhall and junction 42 for Bury St Edmunds between 9pm and 6am on weeknights only. A spokesman for National Highways said: "Please remember that closures can change at short notice.
