Each serving of food on the global stage is seasoned with love for Filipino culture. Australian-based culinary couple Princess Anne Uy and Marc Nacua expressed pride in representing Filipino flavors in international food competitions. “[It’s] good to represent [the] Filipino for the world to know what Filipino is, what’s our flavor, or how we do our food,” Nacua added. Uy received the Silver Knife at the Bocuse d’Or Australia National in 2025 and placed second in the seafood category at the 2023 World Food Championship in Dallas, Texas. Meanwhile, Nacua was crowned Dessert Champion at the 2024 World Food Championship – Australia and placed 7th at the World Food Championship in Indianapolis, USA.
