Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Threads WhatsApp TelegramKUCHING (Oct 1): The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar today received a courtesy call from the organising committee of his upcoming 79th birthday celebration at the Astana Negeri Sarawak. The delegation was led by Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, who is the minister in charge of the celebration. The celebration will commence with a thanksgiving ceremony at Masjid Jamek, Petra Jaya on Oct 9, followed by a thanksgiving ceremony organised by the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) at the Imperial Hotel on Oct 10. A Konsert Rakyat will also be held at Padang Merdeka that evening. The celebration will conclude with a tea reception at the Riverside Majestic Hotel on Oct 12.
