VLADIMIR Putin is using horseback troops to wage his meatgrinder war in Ukraine as the tyrant's army runs out of vehicles. Historically, 13 cavalry divisions were still in operation by the Red Army at the start of the Second World War. It is the largest autumn call-up since 2016, meaning Putin's war machine now boasts as many as 1.5 million troops.
