Interim leadership put into place at Delaware County prison

Delaware County has placed interim leadership in place at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility after the warden tendered her resignation in August.
Delaware County Jail Oversight Board Chair and County Council Member Kevin Madden said an interim warden would be appointed in the very near term and would be announced at this month’s Jail Oversight Board meeting.
Bonds came to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility in June 2024 as deputy warden of Security & Training.
“The interim warden role we are working with the Department of Corrections at the state to identify an individual to serve as the interim warden role,” she said.
There are 1,069 incarcerated persons being housed at George W. Hill Correctional Facility.
