Northern’s latest Flash Sale has already seen hundreds of thousands of bargain tickets snapped up across the North – with some journeys available for £2 for adults and £1 for children. The cut-price sale launched yesterday (September 30) from the train operator and runs until tomorrow (October 2). Tickets are available through Northern’s app, website, ticket offices and station ticket machines. Alex Hornby, Northern’s commercial and customer director, said: “We are just 24 hours in, and the response has been incredible.
