Energy giant SSEN Transmission has been under fire in Wester Ross communities over its plans to bring a controversial undersea energy cable ashore at Dundonnell on the shores of Little Loch Broom.
SSEN Transmission says the events will be a chance for it to “share detailed information on its work to minimise the impact of [these] essential roadworks”.
“The events taking place in October will allow our project team to share our revised proposals with the local community and answer any questions that people may have.
It proponents claim it will also lead to “substantial local economic and legacy benefits” for communities along its route.
