The Eureka Woman’s Club invites the community to enjoy its October “To-Go Dinner” on Oct. 24. Meals are available for prepaid purchase at $25 each and can be picked up between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Eureka Woman’s Club, 1531 J St., Eureka. The October menu will feature Thai Curry Chicken with Fresh Kabocha Pumpkin with jasmine rice or Vegetarian Pumpkin Stir-Fry with black bean and garlic with jasmine rice. “It is pumpkin season, so cooking with pumpkins seems appropriate,” said Chan. “The carrot cake roll is the perfect fall dessert with warm cinnamon spices.”Murline Georgeson, president of the Eureka Woman’s Club, said, “We are proud to carry on traditions that connect food, friendship and philanthropy.
