Business owners in the Kiambiu area of Eastleigh, Nairobi, are counting losses after their shops and business premises were destroyed in a fire that ravaged the area on Tuesday night. The fire reportedly started at around midnight on October 1 and quickly spread, consuming business structures in the area. Another video showed business owners using buckets of water to put out fires while waiting for the fire brigade. Notably, this was the second fire in as many days in the Pumwani area. On Tuesday September 16, another fire had been reported at Shauri Moyo area of Pumwani.
