A high school baseball coach from Illinois has been indicted on multiple federal drug trafficking charges following an investigation that spanned several months. Demetrius Combs, 33, of Sauget, was indicted in U.S. District Court in St. Louis on August 27. The motion states an undercover officer with the St. Louis County Police Department purchased fentanyl from Combs once and methamphetamine twice. Inside the residence, police seized multiple firearms, additional cell phones, thousands of dollars in cash, a pill press, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and various drug paraphernalia. The investigation was conducted by the St. Louis County Police Department in coordination with the FBI.
