The Balochistan government has released a significant grant of Rs801.95 million to ensure timely payment of salaries and pensions for employees working in public sector universities across the province. The Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology in Khuzdar is set to receive Rs101.7 million, ensuring that its employees also benefit from the much-needed financial support. The University of Loralai will receive Rs29.8 million, ensuring salaries and pensions are delivered without further delays. The release of these funds is expected to provide relief for thousands of university employees and pensioners who have faced uncertainty due to financial constraints. With this allocation, the Balochistan government has reaffirmed its focus on strengthening higher education by ensuring staff salaries are prioritized, thereby enabling universities to concentrate on academic growth and student development without facing administrative disruptions.
