Two children were allegedly tied up and tortured over accusations of stealing hilsa fish in Patuakhali's Galachipa upazila. Photos on social media show the children tied up, with hilsa fish placed in their hands. On Monday morning, fish trader Imran Boyati accused them of stealing 10 hilsa from his depot. In the morning, they caught us, tied our hands and legs, beat us, and made us hold the fish for photos." Imran Boyati said, "We caught them stealing fish.
