Inspire Entertainment Resort, a complex with foreigner-only casino at Incheon in South Korea, says it has conducted a “resource circulation project” by creating upcycled benches using waste linen generated at the property. The initiative – done in partnership with resource circulation platform Giving Plus – aimed at “sharing the value of sustainable resource circulation with the future generation of the local community,” it added. “This upcycling project is estimated to have a carbon reduction effect equivalent to planting 32 pine trees,” stated the release. In June, Inspire launched an environmental project to ensure the sustainable disposal of waste generated from resort operations. That project established a circular system for timely collection and recycling of materials such as coffee grounds and waste linen.
