Philippines-listed DigiPlus Interactive Corp says it is set to launch on September 22 its online gaming operations in Brazil. The company said its expansion into “Latin America’s fastest-growing iGaming market” represented a “significant step” in the group’s “global expansion strategy”. “The company is ready to thrive in Brazil, a regulated market that generated US$3.2 billion in GGR [gross gaming revenue] in its first semester,” said DigiPlus. He added: “Our entry into this dynamic market is the culmination of a global-first mindset, strong collaboration between our teams, and an unwavering commitment to responsible gaming operations. DigiPlus’ Brazil country manager Graham Tidey said in prepared remarks that GamePlus was “designed to deliver simple, fun entertainment to the Brazilian market”.
