Cura wound up its operations in 2023 and donated its remaining funds to East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity to create the room and also to provide grants to people who face financial hardship due to having cancer treatment. Patricia Millward, matron and lead oncology nurse at the centre, helped to lead the project to create the room. It’s the perfect setting away from the clinic area for patients to relax in and enjoy the complementary therapies that we provide, thanks to funding from our hospital charity. “Thank you so much to Jennie and Richard for funding the room.
