The interactive app, named "Knebworth Watch", was designed to immerse visitors in the experience of viewing Knebworth House from the top of the Watchman's Tower. Thanks to funding raised by National Lottery players, the app utilises information from the Knebworth House archive to take users on a journey through time. It depicted how Knebworth House and Park may have appeared during the Anglo-Saxon, Norman, Tudor, and Victorian eras, extending to the present day. The development of the "Knebworth Watch" app was made possible through the National Lottery Heritage Fund, as part of the Watchman's Tower project. This project aimed to restore access to the Victorian Watchman's Tower at Knebworth House over a two-year period ending in September 2020.
