Organised by Fairlands Valley Spartans (FVS), the event welcomes all those over the age of 17 and incorporates the Hertfordshire County Senior Championships. The half marathon will follow a two-lap course on tarmac along the town’s cycleways. The event HQ will be at the Hampson Park Community Centre, while the route will include landmarks such as Fairlands Valley Park, Grace Way and the railway station. The course has also received the number 29379 from UKA, along with a certificate of course accuracy (24/258). Fairlands Valley Spartans have organised the Stevenage Marathon and Half Marathon since 1984.
