VIRIDOR is pleased to confirm that Essex-based Statom Group has been awarded the longer-term civils contract for the Thameside Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) at the Port of Tilbury.
The contract award follows Statom’s successful involvement in the early construction phase of the project, where the company delivered high-quality groundwork and substructure activities through Viridor’s leading contractor, Kanadevia Inova (formerly Hitachi Zosen Inova).
Statom Group, headquartered in West Thurrock, has demonstrated a strong performance and collaborative approach throughout the initial phase of the build.
Patrick Daws, Head of ERF Projects at Viridor, said: “Statom Group has shown itself to be a reliable and highly capable partner during the early construction of Thameside ERF.
Viridor and Kanadevia Inova are pleased to extend this relationship as the project moves into its next phase.
