The unknown man is believed to have followed the group back towards Winterford Road, where he made verbal threats. The group managed to fend off the man, who then left the area, but has not since been located despite a police search. It is believed the man stayed in the area until around 8.10pm when he was last seen near Lanbury Drive, Cheetham Hill.
