tnAchieves expands mentorship program

39 | Friday, September 19, 2025Student support nonprofit tnAchieves is expanding its long-standing statewide mentor program with a new Workforce Mentorship option aimed at preparing college students for career success.
“tnAchieves has always been focused on helping students reach their goals and taking their next step,” says Tyler Ford, tnAchieves vice president of workforce.
South College, Titans team for “Kickoff Kid”South College Nashville has partnered with the Tennessee Titans to give children ages 7-12 a chance to be part of the action during home games this NFL season.
South College Nashville opened in 2017 and offers programs in dental, business, health care, education, legal studies and technology.
Yet nearly half of working Tennesseans are employed in just four sectors – manufacturing, health care, retail and government – that often offer lower wages and slower growth.
