At approximately 4:55 am on Tuesday, Greenwich Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft on the west side of town.
The stolen vehicle was later recovered in Bridgeport by officers from the Bridgeport Police Department.
A bullet casing was discovered inside the recovered vehicle.
At this time, the incident appears to be an isolated case of vehicle theft.
The Greenwich Police Department strongly advises residents not to confront individuals suspected of committing a crime.
