The National Assembly has granted the suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, access to her office and the National Assembly premises. Naija News reports that there are strong indications that the imbroglio between Natasha and the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, is nearing a resolution. According to Vanguard, the Sergeant at Arms of the National Assembly, along with combined personnel from security organisations, on Tuesday unsealed Natasha’s 205 office in the Senate wing. With this development, Natasha can access the National Assembly premises, potentially paving the way for her to resume her legislative duties on October 7, 2025. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension ended in September 2025, but she has been unable to resume her duties due to ongoing legal issues and continued opposition from the Senate leadership.
