Fresh details have emerged following the abduction of the lawmaker representing Pankshin South Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Laven Denty Jacob. Naija News had earlier reported that gunmen whisked away Jacob on Monday night at his residence in the Dong area of Jos North Local Government Area. While neither the state government nor security agencies had issued a statement as of Tuesday morning, a family member confirmed the incident in an interview with Daily Post. The source, who pleaded anonymity, said Jacob was abducted shortly after returning home from an outing with friends. Denty Laven Jacob have not reached out to the family to make any ransom demand and we do not know anything about his condition at the moment,” he added.
