A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has dismissed the move by the Rivers State House of Assembly to probe the outgone Sole Administrator of the state, Ibok-Ette Ibas. Naija News reports that the State Assembly, during its first meeting after President Bola Tinubu lifted the state of emergency, had ordered the probe of Ibas. However, speaking via a statement, Eze argued that the state assembly lacks the courage to conduct the probe. “The threat to probe Ibas is just for the media. If not, one would have loved to see a situation where Ibas is brought to explain how he wasted Rivers State funds.
