The faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), led by its acting National Chairman, Nafiu Bala, has outlined conditions to accept the leadership of former Senate President, David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola. Following the adoption of ADC, Mark was elected as the Interim National Chairman of the party, while Aregbesola was named the Interim National Secretary. Displeased by this action, the Gombe faction of ADC had instituted a legal action against the coalition. According to Monday, there is still room for alignment with the Mark-led leadership, stressing they will not accept any attempt to hijack the party structure. “‎But other than that, it is an aberration, It’s an attempt to hijack the structure and we will not allow that.
