Today is the final day for member broadcasters of the European Broadcasting Union to apply to participate in the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Once a broadcaster has applied to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest, they will have until mid-December to withdraw from competing without financial penalty from the European Broadcasting Union. The mid-December deadline comes against the backdrop of a vote on Israel’s participation in Eurovision 2026, which is due to take place at the EBU General Assembly on December 4-5 in Geneva.
