There, Lambe admitted to intentionally strangling the woman on June 8 in Ipswich this year. Court documents described the incident as “an unprovoked attack of a serious nature”. It was found that Lambe, who is of no fixed abode but from the Ipswich area, had activated a suspended sentence order. It was also judged that the offence was “so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified”. Lambe sentenced to 60 weeks custodial time, with 52 weeks to be served in prison, the equivalent to one year inside.
