Suffolk police attended reports of the incident on the westbound slip at junction 53 at 12.15pm on Monday. A spokeswoman for Suffolk police confirmed that, although the incident was initially thought to be a breakdown, two lorries were involved in a collision. No injuries have been reported, and recovery arrived on scene at 1.30pm. Traffic sensors are still reporting heavy delays at junction 54 near Sproughton, but the scene was cleared just after 2pm.
