Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park received the seal of approval from Babergh and Mid Suffolk Council last week to construct a new enclosure for Diego the brown bear. Diego was originally placed in temporary accommodation but since arriving at the wildlife park in 2024 he now has his forever home. Building Diego's home was described as a "race against time" by the park in order to provide him with somewhere to hibernate for the winter. Jimmy’s Farm were made aware of the imminent closure of Orsa Predator Park in Sweden - the zoo Diego previously lived at. Without a campaign to re-locate Diego to Suffolk, which saw £60,000 raised, he would've been put to sleep.
