Best Convenience Store, in Tacket Street, is set to receive approval to open 24 hours a day by Ipswich Borough Council next week. Currently, the convenience store is open from 8am to 11pm from Wednesday until Sunday but the recent application could see that change. Applicant Marzia Nishat states in her application form that the convenience store is a new venture having previously owned a kebab shop. The new plans would allow the provision of 'late night refreshment' between 11pm and 5am, Monday to Friday. Furthermore, if the application is approved it would allow store to sell alcohol off the premises 24 hours a day.
