As municipal election campaigns ramp up across the province, candidates are out meeting voters and putting up signs. But for some, that part of the campaign comes with a frustrating downside – having those signs stolen or vandalized. One of the candidates affected is Wendy Squires Ennis, who is running for a council seat in Portugal Cove-St. Philips. She says she broke down and cried as she drove around the town and saw what had happened, but quickly recovered. Squires Ennis says the incident only strengthens her resolve.
