During the full council meeting on Wednesday, council leader Cllr Anthony Burns said it is a “new era” for St Helens town centre. “Phase one has been approved, marking a major milestone in our plan to create a vibrant, thriving town centre. “Residents have constantly brought up concerns regarding the town centres, and that is why we’re regenerating both St Helens and Earlestown.
