Liverpool Philharmonic Hall will throw open its doors on Sunday September 28 for an Open Day celebrating the city’s musical talent, from orchestral favourites to up-and-coming grassroots acts. Vanessa Reed, chief executive of Liverpool Philharmonic, said: “I’m so excited for this year’s Open Day. "It’s the perfect opportunity for anyone who hasn’t yet been to Liverpool Philharmonic to come and see what we’re all about - free of charge. In the Music Room, audiences can enjoy back-to-back sets from emerging artists, curated by partner organisations across the city. Members of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will also appear in new and unexpected musical collaborations throughout the series.
