As previously reported, the driver of a gully cleansing vehicle owned by Warrington Borough Council was taken to hospital after a crash in Collins Green. The council confirmed that one of its vehicles collided with a house on Collins Green Lane shortly after 5pm yesterday, Sunday. Emergency services at the scene of the crash on Collins Green Lane. A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 5.07pm on Sunday, September 21, police were called to reports of a collision on Collins Green Lane, Warrington. “There were no reports of any serious injuries, but the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
