Traffic was stopped on the M6 southbound at junction 22 for Winwick following the road traffic collision, which occurred shortly before 11am. The incident was left with National Highways and Cheshire Police. A spokesman for the latter said: “At 10.54am on Sunday, September 21, police were called to reports of a collision on M6 southbound between junctions 22 and 21a. “The collision involved a motorhome that had overturned. All lanes re-opened by 1.20pm, with National Highways officers thanking motorists for their patience.
