WINS for both Hot Geckos and Diggers keep them in touching distance at the top of the mixed volleyball indoor league. Diggers, clearly boosted by their success in set two, started the final set strongly, but Rexel were still very much in touch at 7-3. Hot Geckos faced Venture in the final game of the night, and Venture got off to a great start following a strong serve from Karl Sinclair. Determined to maintain their lead, Sinclair hammered several balls down the middle, but Hot Geckos worked hard to stay in the rallies. Players of the match were Wayne Leask and Keira Tulloch for Hot Geckos, and Luke Bennett and Louise Birnie for Venture.
