Geoff and Debby Cotterill live on West Road near the A35 at Miles Cross on the edge of Bridport. The couple have raised concern about an old pine tree, which overlooks their house, after hearing it may be felled. The couple say the tree helps reduce traffic noise and provides a habitat for wildlife. As reported, clearance and landscaping work is underway around Miles Cross ahead of the construction of a new roundabout to support the new 760-home development at Vearse Farm (Foundry Lea).
