Members of a local writers network presented initial ideas to Bridport Town Council to restore two phone boxes in the town centre, turning them into 'writing stations' to unite budding artists in the town. At a finance and general purposes committee, it was heard that the phone boxes would cost £1 each to buy and are already fitted with electricity.
