Following the publication of the First Bus timetable for the X51 and X53 bus services - which were due to be severely reduced this winter - Dorset Council said it has now 'worked closely' with the operator to reinstate the previous winter timetable which includes more services. However, now the bus operator and the council seem to have resolved the problem, and have 'agreed arrangements' to restore the core winter timetable residents rely on.
